Katrina den Hollander

Registered Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technician Program, Sheridan College 2017

Katrina brings with her a great deal of experience from working at a variety of small animal clinics in Mississauga and Guelph over the last 4 years. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking, and generally spending time outdoors, especially during the summer. She previously worked with a community Learn To Ride program at a small equine stable where she enjoyed working with all ages to teach them how to engage with horses and gain confidence in their abilities. She hopes to get back into some leisure horseback riding in the future.

She lives with her rambunctious cat, Koan, whom she is pictured with. He was adopted from a research facility in 2014 which definitely shows in his friendly demeanor but lack of personal space. He tends to be Katrina’s shadow around the house and is often described as more of a dog-like personality, as he greets everyone at the door and loves to play with his toys. She also cares for her family dog, Olaf, who was adopted in 2018 and lives with her mom in Mississauga. She had hoped he would join her in Guelph one day but he seems to enjoy the retired life with her mom and enjoys spending his days napping, helping in the garden, and going for long walks and hikes.
